If you want to know what is distance learning, the traditional definition is that distance learning is a method of education in which a student is not required to be present physically in a classroom, and does not need to follow a traditional term period. In place of face-to-face interaction between students and teachers, the interaction is carried out through the mail, email and even audio/video-conferencing. Though distance learning has been around for ages, with the latest technology boom it has become possible for students and teachers to interact in real time.
